For how long? Eight months.
I discovered The Ordinary in my early twenties, right around the time I first became fascinated with skincare. I was always reading up on ingredients, and the brand’s no-nonsense formulas really spoke to me. I picked out a few products that suited my skin and never looked back. Years later, The Ordinary is still a brand I trust and genuinely get excited about when they launch something new. So when their milky toner caught my eye last year, I ordered it right away. From day one, it’s been a steady favorite in my routine.
This isn’t your typical toner. Its ingredient list stands out. The star here is saccharomyces ferment—essentially yeast extract. Fermented ingredients gently exfoliate and help strengthen the skin barrier, making them a perfect match for sensitive skin. They also help brighten and reduce the appearance of dark spots. There’s also NAG, another gentle exfoliant, and squalane, which locks in hydration. Bonus points for the sleek glass bottle.
The texture is practically water-light, and my skin drinks it up instantly. Since I have combination skin, rich moisturizers can feel too heavy in the summer, so I often use this toner in place of one. On those sensitive days, whether post-glycolic or pre-period, it gently calms and comforts my skin. It soothes redness and takes the edge off irritation. But the thing I love most? The glow. This toner gives me that glass-skin look we all admire from K-beauty.
It’s now a staple in my morning and evening routine—the one that finally got me into the habit of using toner consistently. If your skin is on the dry or sensitive side, I can’t recommend it enough. For me, it’s the one that hydrates, smooths, and leaves my skin with the kind of healthy, radiant glow I can’t get enough of.
